In certain circles, Golden Boy is a shirt. There's a lot o kick drum in this one.
Do you kinda patch'n'stitch this stuff together or something? I'm really kind of intrigued by the whole way everything sounds. Are you recording to four track, or what?
Do I actually maybe actually HEAR a voice here, in this one, way back in there, like sans micromophone, kinda shoutin' along or something? Maybe it's just some artifact from the slide guitar stuff I'm hearing, but there in the beginning I coulda sworn I was hearing someone singing along way back in the other room, like maybe a couple rooms back, like maybe you recorded in a big building with a buncha rooms and some doors open and somewhere out in the hallway someone was just sorta groovin' along with the voicebox device.
At the end there, now, I'm sure, someone SAID SOMETHING. Right there, right there said something.
(I'm up on a weird, I'm strangely tonight, it's late and I'm, well, there are paint fumes everywhichway, maybe, I'm just, my whole bingdang head, or, so I'm gabbering quite a bit, but it's only cuz I like the stuff. So, you know, pardon my panic while I picnic my snost.)

Each of the instruments was recorded at different times. The voices you heard might have been someone talking in or aroudn the music room where we recorded. There is someone talking at the very end that i know of... thats my guitarist saying "uhhh i gotta do the slide parts"

I like what you've done. I record music tracks one at a time with Cakewalk Home studio that works well for me . . . just thought i'd let you know. If you want, check it out and let me know what you think. Well keep up the good work!

Cool song. I like the bass line with the acoustic guitar. I'd like to hear vocals on this because it's all funky and stuff and a vocal hook would make it uber-catchy. I found the electric guitar part to be a cool break but a little repeatitive though.
